Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Strategy 2018-2023

In response to the Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015, and the subsequent national strategy, partners in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan have developed their regional Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) Strategy 2018-2023 – ’It’s In Our Hands’.

Whilst anyone (women, men, children and young people) can experience and be affected, it is women and girls who are disproportionately affected.

Issues covered: domestic abuse, rape and sexual violence, sexual exploitation (including through the sex industry), modern day slavery, forced marriage, female genital mutilation, child sexual exploitation, stalking and sexual harassment.
